Pilot plant tests on a 220 ton-per-day continuous feed municipal incinerator demonstrates the technical feasibility of electrostatic precipitation for control of stack emission. Data on the nature of the furnace stack gases and the physical characteristics of the dust as well as performance of a pilot unit treating ap proximately 600 cfm are presented.
